Description

AD84064Q is an integrated circuit dedicated to the control section of a DC-DC buck converter. The chip integrates a temperature-compensated bandgap reference source circuit, a duty cycle control oscillator, driver and high-current output switch. Compared with the MC34063 product, it can use the least external components to form a switching buck converter.

A DC-DC step-down bucket converter IC is a semiconductor device that provides an output voltage by stepping down the input voltage. These ICs are primarily used in power-limited systems or battery-operated devices.

A step-down bucket converter performs the function of converting the output voltage from a higher input voltage to a lower value. To achieve this, switching transistors are used to periodically switch the input voltage, and inductors and diodes are used to stabilize the voltage.
